As the name might suggest, the Tractor gets plenty of country acts, mostly alt-country and singer-songwriters, in addition to hosting regular square-dancing nights. The venue also stacks its bills with plenty of rock, soul, and indie acts, and even a few tribute bands. Shows featuring national acts tend to sell out in advance, mostly because it’s a great place to see live music—lots of energy, a few booths and seats near the back, and a bar that’s just far enough out of the way to be accessible during the show, but close enough to feel part of it.
